What is Tubal Pregnancy?

Tubal pregnancy is one that occurs outside the womb, usually in one of the fallopian tubes. It is also referred to as ectopic (which means "out of place") pregnancy. If this condition is not detected on time, it will result in further growth of the fetus which in turn leads to rupture of the tubes. This is considered and emergency which can prove very fatal to both the mother and the child. The fetus never survives since it cannot be moved to the womb, thus lading it to its removal.
